how you can blame a 57 yard miracle field goal on hawk is beyond me... and as for defensive coaching you cant game plan scoring fast and then having your d on the field for 40 plus minutes

We played to run the clock. If we were playing to lose they would have called for Cody to lateral to an empty space then have everyone on offense run away from the ball.

We'd had decent success on the ground all day long, and if we could have gotten the line moving in our direction on that drive we could have run out the clock pretty easily. Unfortunately, our O line just looked gassed at that point.

I guess I just don't think that one can just ignore the injury bug that has bitten the team this year. To go to Lincoln and play like that against a veteran team says something about the team and its leadership, I think.

Jimmy, we agree on some things man and the draws were dumb but for this game,cu left it on the field. I'm effing ticked we lost,a ounch to the gut but if he misses,CU wins. He made a huge kick and they won.

Cu was picked by most to get crushed today,I picked 45-10 NU.CU stopped them,he just made the kick.

Plenty of time to talk about helfrich and others but you can't fault the way they played today.

Our staff could have thrown the ball on 1st down.. Other than the one run by Sumler after the fumble recovery on 1st down I believe, we did nothing on the ground.. From memory, our play calling was run, pass I think for a 1st down, then scott's awful run, incomplete, sack. Then the next drive was run, run, pass 1st down, run, run, incomplete...
