Rose Bowl Thread - Oregon v Florida State

Pulling for oregon in a bowl is like pulling for nebraska in a bowl game. Nice to know that in the days of the B8/12 some buff fans were so ready to pull for the big red come bowl season.


EDIT... I am like Switzerland in this game and wish they could both lose.

There are always exceptions to the rule. I don't see this as one of them.

With the way college football is now-a-days you need your conference to be strong. Ask the Big 12
 
ESPN giving the giant middle finger to consumers who watch these games via streaming devices. Thanks.
 
Amazing that FSU declined a 15 yard penalty. They're that happy to get their defense off he field and give the 3 points.
 
I would have less of an issue with WatchESPN if it wasn't for their companies larger policy of purchasing properties that until very recently had been available over-the-air and forcing consumers to be ripped off to the tune of $100+ per month for programming they don't need by paying cable companies for garbage that they don't want to watch on other channels. If you want to watch major sporting events in the United States without leaving your home you also need to be OK with paying $100+ per month for A&E, 15 channels of desperate housewives and white-trash freak-show "documentaries", 5 channels of MTV, comedy central, and a shouting Jim Kramer dressed up in a clown suit ripping off the old and gullible with his stock tips. Not interested in those things but want to watch major postseason sporting events? Go to a bar or break the law. Great options.

Why in the world do marching bands try to play pop/rock music? Every time they start to play a song not actually meant for a band, it is like trying to play name that tune.

FSU's O line is handling Oregon but they can't stop Oregon's offense without an assist from the officials.
