Season Opener date changed

I know. That was the point of my response to azbuff. Losing to Hawaii, who is far worse than CSU, does not mean we lose to CSU 2 weeks later.

So, you're arguing that losing to Hawaii either has no influence on whether we beat CSU or makes it more likely that we beat CSU? I can't agree with that.

Let the kool aid floweth. Before spring practices to boot.

IF we lose at Hawaii does that deflate the team? Losing to a bad team could hurt the psyche. Tough to win in the season opener at what amounts to an 11pm start time.

4-0 is a must if we want to go bowling imo. 3 wins in conference is already a tough sell, if we go 3-1 a bowl game is extremely hard to see. If we go 2-2 we got some serious issues.

Doubtful.
Mr. Negative Nancy. I don't think it is "doubtful" at all. That's too negative just as I'd say "likely" is too positive. I'll go with "very possible." I would say the Hawaii game is the most difficult just because Hawaii is a historically tough road game. Get past them, and I go from "very possible" to "highly possible" or even "likely."

I was saying "doubtful" on you actually getting pissed. We all know better.

Apparently you don't. Although I'm a lot more centered than I used to be. Things change with age. But losses are gut wrenching for me.

I'm loving how some here can demand we should go 4-0. The first game in this count up to 4-0 run is an away game with an 11pm kickoff for a bunch of jet lagged players in a shortened practice week.

Oregon State did it last year. So did Udub. Colorado could/should have beaten both of those teams last year. Colorado should be improved in 2015. Why the excuses?

Shortened practice week?

A shortened practice week for the first game of the year? :wtf:

Come on man!! It's the first game of the season! They sure as hell better be able to figure out how to get out there early enough to take "jet lag" out of the equation. The thing I'd worry about is too much time chillin' in Hawaii. It'll be good practice for our bowl game.

This is how I cope. Plan for 0-11 or 0-12. Pleasantly surprised when we win. No broken televisions or wounded pets.
The old "Hope for the best, plan for the worst" philosophy, eh? I'm more the "Power of Positive Thinking" kind of guy. No. I am. Really.
