Season Ticket Renewals

I'm probably out on season tickets. It's been a good run. I will be taking the kiddos to some games though!

Yo @FChairbanks

"The renewal deadline is July 8, and with demand expected to be high, we encourage you to act soon."

This is the only reason I haven't fully renewed yet. I went to 3 games this year. I had Buffs fans in my seats for every game, but somehow paying $1600 to see 3 games doesn't seem to be a wise investment right now.
that is where i am as well

I have both CU and DU calling and emailing me daily. I'm in the same situation, but for DU Hockey. Only made half the home games last year due to distance and other commitments. FWIW, the CU reps come across as way more desperate. Methinks they are quite aware that the fit is about to hit the shan.

The problem is that you also buy football stuff too. So they care about you. Despite being a season ticket holder for over a decade, I got one phone call/voicemail and one email. This will be the only time that I hear from anyone at CU every year as basketball is the only thing I go for and I'm not a big donor.

FWIW, I've been a football season ticket holder since 2000, a basketball season ticket holder since 2013, my father was all Big 8 and donated quite a bit of moola before/after his passing and I still get jerked around constantly.

That's what I'm saying - they CARE about you. You have football background. I get that CU has priorities - and it's smart to do so - but it's insane how little they harass me considering I've been buying season tickets for 14 (?) years and making some small donations over the required amount every year. I'm not complaining though as I only get a 303-492 phone call two to three times a year.

Yeah, that's BS and not a great look from the AD. But not unexpected TBH given RG's lack of sh!ts given re: basketball.

I have gone from being in the top 700 for points and ranking to not owning any season tix. You would think someone would make more of an effort than to have a student just call me. They do not care

When it's hard for *me* to be excited for the coming season, to gin up any justification for optimism, this sort of reaction is to expected.
I hear ya. I don't see any way we win more than 13 games again. 2 more seasoned, legit transfers would've made all the difference in the world.
