Sefo Liufau Pac 12 Offensive Player of The Week

Absolutely legendary performance from Sefo.

Is there any question he's earned his place on the "Mt. Rushmore" of CU quarterbacks?

****ing amazing. This win feels perfect.

He's definitely closing in, if not there.

A conference championship would seal the deal.

When you go for 300 & 100 in the biggest game of the week in the conference, I don't think there's any doubt.

“Sefo, he is a dog,” Phil Lindsay said. “You got to be a dog in this game, period. That man puts his body on the line, day in and day out, he has to take the most criticism, he has to remember everything on the field, he has to tell me what to do half the time, there are no words that I can say to express my feelings towards that man, that dude is the man and my guy to the end and I’ve told him that and I just want to let him know again. He’s our leader, we’re going to ride with him.”

Is 350/100/3/0 enough versus McCaffrey's 31/284/3?

It's more than enough. Bigger game, bigger stage, and against a MUCH better defense than Cal. C-Mac will be right there in the "others receiving consideration" group, but Sefo is a shoe-in. I can see maybe Darnold, McMaryion, and Carrington (for that game-winning catch) being in the running too, but no way Sefo doesn't win.

How many other cu quarterbacks have won ten games in the regular season?
Well, we are 9-2, but Montez won OSU and UO, so Sefo has won 7 games as the starter. He has to win out to get there.

In 1971, we won 10 games, but it doesn't say how many games each QB played in (K Johnson was the primary starter)
In 1989, Hagan played in 11 games and we went 11-1
In 1990, both Hagan and CJ played in 12 games, and we went 11-1-1
In 1994, Kordell started 11 games and we went 10-1 in his starts (Detmer started and won the imfaous "asterisk" game against OU)
In 1995, Hessler played in 11 games, and we went 10-2
In 1996, Detmer played in 11 games, and we went 10-2
In 2001, we won 10 games, but neither Ochs or Pesavanto played in all 10.
