The BigXII is gonna suck.
Yeah, I get that the Big XII move was better than staying with the sinking ship that was the Pac12; but it's closer to a lifeboat situation than being rescued by a luxury yacht.
 
I don’t remember ever seeing a good halftime show. But then halftime is when I change the channel to watch football. I always thought halftime shows were for people that don’t like football but watch the Super Bowl.
The majority suck, but there have been many that were somewhere in the “worth watching” to “fantastic” range.

It seems like more and more College Football is trying to copy the NFL. I'm starting to ask myself two big questions. Why are our universities sponsoring semi-pro sports teams? And why should I watch something that is NFL light, when I could just watch the NFL?

Yup. Its the TV people treying to hold your attention female viewers so ads during halftime sell well. I suspect that those spots have less interest in past years.
 
orange bowl halftime shows are a fond memory from when I was little. I think those predate the Super Bowl shows
