I think that article is a fair assessment of the situation.. What it doesn't say is the most relevant though...the Browns made their own bed and now they have to lay in it.
I think the article said that the Browns appropriately assessed and drafted Shedeur and did not make their own bed. I felt that the article was blaming fans for not being able to assess quarterbacks.
I think it was written by Shooter McGavin, actually.
He'll be fine, he has the demeanor for it. Of course, it'll get harder. I think he can handle it because he doesn't speak or carry himself like a rookie. Just keep working and you'll get your shot, whenever that is.

Shedeur could have so much appeal and bring so many fans if a team embraced him and all that goes with being a Sanders.
The swag isn’t for everybody but he’s got the skills to back it up.
When they overtly put themselves out there on SM, I disagree - we simply found their IG/SM because of the sports connection. They know they are hot and are promoting it.
If they just happen to cuter than normal and living life, totally agree!

That said, when this news dropped, Phil Lindsay said on The Fan that it was what he expected - the team wouldn't move their free agent or their 3rd round pick down without a live down being played by either of them. Of course Shedeur's performance put a lot of pressure on them for when they do play, because he set a pretty high bar.
Personally I don't think that's how it should work, but I never played in the League.
