Shedeur Sanders - 2023-25 Tracking History Thread - Drafted by the Cleveland Browns (NFL)

Can’t wait for Gabriel to absolutely blow this 2 minute drive and then listen to KS gobble his balls making excuses for it
 
Gabriel hit the throws he was supposed to hit. When his receivers were wide open he hit them for the most part. I know I’m a homer, but Gabriel was damned lucky he didn’t throw another pick six on an out pattern. And he didn’t hit any tight window throws. So, yeah, he looked okay in the 2 minute drill. But the Rams didn’t put up much resistance in my opinion.

Definitely already worth noting. That said, Shedeur’s body language isn’t good. Even if you know the cards are stacked you can’t wear that on your face and after this last series of plays he was.

True, but he also had two balls on the series that should have been caught and weren't. Wouldn't have been "easy" catches but at this level should be caught.

Well, he hasn’t been able to find any rhythm. He’s playing with guys who are probably going to get cut. His protection is bad. His receivers aren’t getting any separation. So kind of tough to get much going. Let’s see how this next possession goes.

Stop with the excuses. These are the guys he has been taking reps with. They are playing guys on the other side who are in the same spot. That was a horrible series for him. Only 3 and outs

It would have been a good idea to alternate Sanders and Gabriel with the 2s and 3s.

After I posted that the announcers said the exact same thing. So I’m vindicated!! 😆
