State of Modern Recruiting (My Two Cents)

CA is not tough for CU to recruit. Get our house in order, CA kids are just as if not more likely to end up at CU than Washington or Oregon.

If the Buffs could go 6-6 with a "signature win" this year, I think people would be very surprised at the level of talent CU will pull from Cali.

This is the whole issue. We aren't going to instantly be an 8 o 10 win team. What we have to do is recruit above the level that we are and win above our talent. Win a few more games and we start getting the attention of the next level of recruits who can take us up another level of winning.

Each step is hard, going from 4 to 6, 6 to 8, 8 to 10, etc. It's going to take time but that doesn't mean that we shouldn't expect progress to be made towards it.

This year we were better on the field and in recruiting than the last couple years, next year and the year after we need to continue to move forward.

We need to give the recruits a reason to pay attention then use their attention to bring them in.
