statement game this season?

Beat Michigan in their house and every recruit we have that is waffling about CU because they want to see just how real the rise is would commit and the game the following week at Oregon would be thrust into a national spotlight game. So Michigan it is.

It would get the wrong kind of attention, though. The attention would be on Michigan and why they lost the game as opposed to what CU would have done to win it.
It depends on how we (hypothetically) won the game (i.e. did we beat a flat Michigan team, or did we win a barnburner in which Michigan played well but we pulled it out?). Even accepting your premise, it would be more positive attention that CU would have received since... OU 2007?

Everybody here would love to upset Michigan, I just don't see it. We'll get to know Jabril Peppers that day I'm afraid. Think I got his name right.

Beating Michigan is possible. We lost to Utah last year by less than they did and we beat them several stat area's as well. Would be more confident if the game was here instead of there though.

First part of year vs end of year. Michigan got a lot better as the year went on....
