Tad Boyle fun facts

In honor of Collier becoming a Buff, I want to share some facts I had on our coach.

1. He just surpassed UPS and FedEx as the #1 deliverer of goods.

2. Tad is about to become a publicly traded company, and I'm initiating coverage as STRONG BUY.

3. Nothing is finer than eating at your diner, especially when said diner is called "I just got Dom Collier to commit to CU".

4. Steve Jobs invented the iPhone so Tad could FaceTime with him

5. Tad actually invented the iPhone, but preferred to stay out of the limelight so he could recruit top 150 recruits to CU

credit where credit is due, hat tip to Coach Billups on closing this as well.

Tad once killed a bear with his bare hands... while simultaneously facebook messaging 3 elite prospects.

Lord of the Rings is loosely based on Tad's 2012 Pac-12 Championship ring.

Tad Boyle built a time machine and went back in time to stop the JFK assassination. As Oswald shot, Tad Boyle met all three bullets with his head, deflecting them. JFK's head exploded out of sheer amazement.

The Cherokee volunteered to walk the trail of tears to accommodate Tad.

Tad will be on the first man mission to Mars. He's getting a head start on interstellar recruiting.

Tad is the true author of the Latin language, as well as hundreds of other languages, ergo his moniker "The Great Communicator".

Tad Boyle can teach turkeys to fly.
Sacky meant to say domesticated turkeys (dropped from helicopters, presumably). Not only can Wild Turkey make you fly, they are also quite capable of flying short distances themselves - the landings in both cases can suck, but Tad's working on it.

Tad Boyle only loses basketball games to remember what it feels like.

Tad Boyle once hit a half court shot, behind the back, underhand, with his eyes closed, while fighting a bear.

High School players recruit Tad Boyle

Later in the year, all governments will put Tad Boyle on their $20 bill in honor of his consecutive 20 win season streak.

As a head coach Tad Boyle has a losing record in NCAA Tournament games.

Am I doing it wrong?

Just a joke, everyone lighten up.

But seriously he does have a losing record.

But seriously it's just a joke so relax.

Interesting. That's a joke only a husker or ram would find funny.

It's an interesting thing, though.

For a coach or a program to have a winning record, the average Dance has to be better than the Round of 32. I'd think that would be pretty elite company once you start talking about a significant sample (say, 5 or more appearances).

It's an interesting way of showing how a generally accepted standard (W/L%) do not apply to every situation. Not to state too much of the obvious but for this phase of his CU career, Tad is more appropriately measured by post-season appearances and 20 win seasons (3 for 3) as a standard for measuring success relative to CU and the bball programs historical performance.

But back to this particular statement, he made a point to exclude NIT and P12 tournaments which paint a better picture of Tad's post-season performance at CU.
