Here's what you can expect his weekend, with all six games on Saturday for the first time in a month.My predictions are on the way tomorrow morning, but lets hear you explain yours in the comments. (all times ET)
Iowa State at No. 19 Texas (Fox Sports Net, noon): Texas brings its comeback tour back home against the Cyclones and their struggling defense. Texas' offense found some new life last week, rushing for 200 yards, but it may not need that many against Iowa State, who was shut out in the first half of its nightmare Big 12 back-to-back at Oklahoma last week.
No. 16 Nebraska at No. 14 Oklahoma State (ABC, 3:30 p.m.): One of the nation's best pass offenses hosts one of the best pass defenses. This could be a classic. Prince Amukamara versus Justin Blackmon is only part of what should be a fantastic matchup when the Cowboys have the ball. And we didn't even mention T-Magic!
Kansas State at Baylor (3:30 p.m.): Winner gets to go bowling. Not that kind of bowling, the good kind. With gift packages for players and week-long trips. It's been awhile for both, and two of the league's premiere offensive talents, Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III and Kansas State running back Daniel Thomas face off in an effort to get their teams to the postseason.
Texas Tech at Colorado (3:30 p.m.): Both teams coughed up home games last week, Texas Tech to Oklahoma State and Colorado to Baylor. Colorado will be looking to take advantage of the Red Raiders struggling defense, but a 1-4 start in Big 12 play would be a nightmare for Texas Tech.
Texas A&M at Kansas (Fox Sports Net, 7 p.m.): Together, these two teams have lost five of six games in the past three weeks, with the lone win coming over New Mexico State. Kansas has lost its last two games by a combined 100 points, and the Aggies dream season has been derailed before it really got going. Somebody's got to get back on track.
No. 1 Oklahoma at No. 11 Missouri (ABC, 8 p.m.): The game of the week, ESPN's "College GameDay" is making its first-ever visit to Columbia on homecoming weekend. The Tigers will try to take advantage of a huge opportunity, hosting a top-ranked Oklahoma team that's looked vulnerable on the road. Missouri will also be playing with a team that is stronger at the line of scrimmage than maybe any of Gary Pinkel's other teams. Best of all for the Tigers, it looks like they will get star defensive end Aldon Smith back on the field, returning from a broken fibula.
