Well, good luck against Whoregon. We helped to take out DAT for you but Byron Marshall killed us as his back-up. Watch out for him and defend the edges. Good luck. See you on the B-Ball forums this year if I don't meet up with you here again. Lots of **** to be talked this year...

Head out for the Cal game this year in November. I'll be there throwing up next to Tante and on Pearl afterwards. I'll buy you a drink or two, or four.

Thanks. Just hoping to cover and avoid utter humiliation this week. Looks like we'll have 3 wins by the time you Bears visit, with a little luck, 4. Might be no attention on the game outside of our fan bases, but it's going to be a hotly contested game that both first year coaches are going to want badly. Looking forward to it.

And yes, this is shaping up to be a hell of a year in basketball. We are loaded and will be quite battle tested by the time conference play rolls around. I expect Monty to have you Bears in the thick of it as well.

You aren't rooting for Oregon? I'm surprised. :nod: The ****ty weather took out DAT, you guys would have a ton of angry ducks on BearInsider if one of your players did it. I'm glad it was a clean game for the most part.

My score prediction is basically the same as most of the posters on this site. Ducks score between 50 and 59 points, right in the comfort zone. Most of these points will be scored in the first half. So far each team we've played has scored slightly more than the team before it. Perhaps we'll let Colorado score 2 touchdowns and maybe a field goal.
 
BTW does anyone know of any good non-corporate fusky boards that don't look like they were made back in the 80's (huskyfan.com)? Gotta make a long trip back to the northwest next week to joust with the mutts.

I creak when I walk. I'm another grandson of the 'Greatest Generation' (lets hope we don't have to surpass them). Anyway, why pay for the entertainment when you can get it for free?

They will. I think they shut us out for any meaningful part of the game and score at will. We may score a touchdown or two but in the fourth quarter when it's long over.

We make a couple FGs in the first half, a couple TDs in garbage time in the second half, and another FG sometime in the 2nd half.

I hate how far we have fallen. We know we have no chance against this team. I will be happy if our guys play hard as if they want to win.

I dunno.

If you look back at our history, we have tended to get our doors blown off by a top ten team at least once a year. Sad, but true. Hell, even when we won the conference in 2001, Texas kicked our asses in Austin. NU did it even in some of our best years, OU too.

Hopefully we will rise again to the point where these games are at least considered to be winnable going in, and that we give ourselves chances to win late, but I'm afraid it's the lot of CU football fan to see our team getting boatraced from time to time. Right now it's the goal to not have it happen week in and week out.
