This is why we didn't and won't get GameDay in Boulder

Game day was in boulder for the CU-nu game in 97....I think they forgot about bill.

I don't think so. Are you thinking about '95 ... in October, before the Big XII and the game being moved to Thanksgiving? Because I know they were at CU then ... the second time that season (first was the A&M game in early September and the Aggies were ranked # 3).

Sorry guys. It was all my fault.

Humor me and let's call her "Lisa".

As ESPN set up shop, I was there to watch the spectacle. With pure innocence in my heart. Then I saw Lisa. My eye caught hers and hers mine.

At that moment I mounted a great stallion. I charged towards her knowing that the ESPN crew might take me down at the first opportunity.

Undaunted, I, with one arm gathered her upon my great stallion, her bousum writhing upon my bare muscled back. I, without fear took her to safety. To a place called, Me Gug the Can. A glorious palace. Whorthy of an ESPN GameDay princess... of that day. I can promise this. She had a delightful evening. As did I. The only tradgedy is that she didn't have the privilege of bearing my children. However, that really should go without saying.

I went to bed that night knowing I had done the world a favor. That stunning young lass had been saved and delivered to safety.

The next day, I awoke to a horrifying story. Apparently, some young CU co-ed wearing an ESPRIT tee shirt was abducted and taken down Folsom to Arapahoe to McGuckin Hardware on a Vespa. All that is known of the abductor is that he was less than 36 years old.

So, for some reason, Lisa does not like CU and THAT is why CU didn't get GameDay.

Makes perfect sense to me.

Well. Now it can be USCs fault for ****ting the bed against Wazzu. They were supposed to be undefeated when we beat them in November

It's okay, we'll both have one loss and be playing a defacto PAC 12 championship play in game and playoff elimination game.

Casual conversation at work, not down talking them at all, nub grad reminded me of down #5. WTF?

TUMPKIN.... Can you imagine what it would be like if a women's group protested GameDay?? It would look really bad... They absolutely couldn't host it in Boulder without mentioning it. What do you think? Has GameDay been to College Station since the creepy Sandusky was revealed as a pedophile?
:ROFLMAO:

Between this thread and Sacky being told he doesn't know anything about banking, yesterday was an entertaining day.

Wait. USC LOST?? I had to get up at 4AM and do adult ****, I didn’t even check the scores. They looked like ass against Texas, I figured that was their, “we didn’t show up” game. Hysterical though, douches.

Yup, didn’t watch the game, thought that was fairly clear. USC has more talent so it’s a failure by them (again), good for Wazzu though getting a big win.

Anyone saying it was all about USC not showing up did not watch the game.

Wazzou was excellent and definitely ready to play. More talented than they have been and Leach used that talent masterfully.

All that said USC as they have been prone to do also crapped the bed. A big part was their huge issues on the OL with injuries but they also just didn't come in sharp.

That doesn't take away from the effort the Cougs put in. I certainly don't think they were the most talented team on the field last night but they did play the best and deserved to win.

USC did not play poorly, so no, they did not "**** the bed." Jesus, you guys have high expectations for how teams are supposed to look week in and week out.

Doesn't have anything to do with us necessarily. Larry Scott and the leadership of this league have flopped at the TV negotiating table, and our league is suffering because of it. To compound that, we tried to go off and do our network on our own......whereas other leagues (SEC-ESPN, B1G-FOX) got the backing of major television networks. Here's my point-these networks have an interest in the success of their higher priority partners (The B1G in particular). That's why you get people like Heather Dinich on the mothership last night going on her little anti-Pac 12 rant last night after the USC game. UW will keep winning, and they'll get very little attention nationally.........and we'll have Larry Scott getting schooled by Jim Delany to thank for that.

WSU beating them is not an upset....Outside of their win over Stanford, I haven't seen much out of SC to believe they're going to be a lot better than 8-4 or 9-3.

Exactly. What I saw was two good teams playing football.

I don't think this Coug team is the pushover most fans think of when they think of Wazzou.

USC is a triage unit on the OL right now and Wazzu returned about 20 starters from last season. Not a big surprise and was a really good game.

My God ... these SEC announcers in the EMU - UK game are such shameless homers!

Politics: USC still has a better chance than Wazzou of playing in the Rose Bowl.
