Tim DeRuyter, Dave Doeren reportedly high on Colorado's coach list
Interesting. Not familiar with Doeren...I'll have to do some research.

Great, now we have become so toxic that bcs coaches just chuckle at Bohn showing off his little money clip. We are back to gambling on another Hawkins.
I like this guy if we have no shot at TedfordDave Doeren coached with Mark Mangino at KU as the LBs coach. I recall KU's LBs playing pretty good during that time. He was a GA at USC and was Wisconsin's DC until he took the NIU job.
DeRuyter has a good resume as well. Those two should be the top choices for the CU job. I like Andersen but not as much as I like Doeren and DeRuyter.

most experienced BCS level coach on the market and Boulder is really similar to Berkley + pretty good track record. I think him and the school were just getting a little stale with each other - he is a good coachWhy in the hell would you want Tedford?
If we hired Tedford, would we be stuck with Marshall? :wow:I like this guy if we have no shot at Tedford

He already said no

I have mixed feelings. I can see we want someone who can rebuild with recruiting like Anderson...he's been at USU for 4 years. But if someone comes in and uses essentially the same players and turns things around in 1 season, I think that shows good Xs and Os. Either one works for me since we have the talent to immediately be a 4 win team...if coached properly maybe 6 wins next year. Plus, winning does wonders for recruiting.Glad I'm not the only one struggling to see a perfect, reasonable fit. Call me skeptical because of Hawkins, but didn't Jerry Kill hand that NIU squad on a platter to Doeren?
He has not been the same for a while now. His healthy isn't good either and I don't think he'd be able to recreate in Boulder what he did in Berkeleymost experienced BCS level coach on the market and Boulder is really similar to Berkley + pretty good track record. the only group of players that actually improved during the season IMO...If we hired Tedford, would we be stuck with Marshall? :wow:
Or if he just needed a huge column to lean againstDoeren could lean on Mangino for well needed help.
Here is a thing to remember about Doeren is if he is hired and brings in Mangino. It would give Colorado someone personally that has turned around a program of comparable stature. Doeren could lean on Mangino for well needed help.
Some perspective on Mangino: In 8 years at KU, they had a winning conference record just once.
