Right but Clemson beat Auburn who beat Alabama who beat Clemson. While Georgia lost to Auburn but Auburn lost to Georgia when it counted. So Auburn wasn’t the best to begin with.

Clemson> Auburn
Auburn> Alabama
Clemson<Alabama
Georgia>Auburn

Whatever you guys can hilariously make up a championship I don’t care.

the college championship in division 1A has never been cut and dried. Even with the 4 team playoff there are holes in the system and the dirty hand of politics. It's all fun and games until an undefeated PAC-12 team gets snubbed for a one loss SEC team based on mythology.

Perhaps our guests from Tennessee are unaware of the two guys from Alabama who came west to camp in Boulder county, accidentally set off the Cold Springs fire and paid the price.

Did I miss a post by TNVols where he said there were going to camp, set off fireworks, and leave their camp fire unattended? I don't get the connection to these posts warning them that their expected behavior would be dangerous.
 
What Vol fan doesn’t enjoy a story about a pair of Alabamians messing up and having to pose for a mug shot wearing Tennessee colors?

do you realize that the NCAA doesn't recognize the playoff champion? North Dakota State is the defending NCAA Division 1 Football champion.

Alabama can claim they are the "College Football Playoffs, LLC Champion", but for the generic term "national champ", UCF has as much right to it as Alabama until the sanctioning body of the sport decides to recognize it.

The best and worst thing about Allbuffs.

We've added so many forums and sub-forums where people can talk about **** other than college sports but it hasn't made a dent in how often topical threads get hijacked.

We are going into "in-season mode" soon and we'll more heavily moderate to keep topical threads on-topic.
