I finally undestand the Auburn-War Eagle thing.
And LSU's Mike should definitely beat out any costumed mascot.

"Now up to Ralphie IV, the buffalo made its first-ever, regular-season road trip out of state since 1989 when it traveled down to Georgia this year"
:wtf: That doesnt make any sense
I've never understood why the Huskies use a Malamute as their mascot. I know they are bigger, but then they should change their name to Washington Malamutes.
I think the article meant that it was the first regular season road trip out of state for Ralphie IV.
I believe that was the first regular season road trip out of state for any Ralphie.
I never knew that those were not huskies. That infuriates me.issed: I agree 100%. They SHOULD be the Malamutes.
Using that same logic, wouldn't that make us the CU Golden Bison?
According to the Bison Specialist Group of North America, the term ‘buffalo’ has been used interchangeably with ‘bison’ since early explorers first discovered the North American species, and has become entrenched as a colloquialism in North American culture and language.

The same cannot be said for huskies and malamutes.
I tried to get an answer to this question. DD went to med school there, he should know right?I never knew that those were not huskies. That infuriates me.issed: I agree 100%. They SHOULD be the Malamutes.
How the **** do an elf and a tree make that list? I saw one poster (after the article) say its lucky boomer sooner made the list or else the OU fans would start crying and call for the ncaa to overturn the poll.
