Transfer Portal is Open

Sure it happens, doubt it with this guy. He's gonna be on his 4th school. Plus he's been in big schools (Texas Tech, 16-16 and DePaul 3-29) with plenty of development potential and ended up at Pacific. There is nothing wrong with Pacific, but that's probably his level. In college he hasn't been part of a winner, so I'm not seeing this as a big move.
Skyy Clark went from a 3 win Louisville team to a 23 win UCLA team and was on his 3rd team in 4 years, Tre White went from a 3 win Louisville team to a 22 win Illinois team and is on his 4th team in 4 years....Kerr Krisa went form a 9 win West Virginia team to a 24 win Kentucky team and is on his 4th team in 4 years. Javon Small and Eric Dailey went from 9 win Oklahoma State teams to solid West Virginia and UCLA teams respectively. Want me to keep going? Welcome to modern college basketball. Teams records are impacted by so much more than one player, coaching, the role the players are asked, fan support, schedule, etc. People can't fault Tad for not using the transfer portal and then simultaneously get pissed for getting involved with a player.

We don't need an Elijah Fisher to be a star player just a solid rotation player who rebounds, defends and hits the open shot. All of which he's capable of.

I guess I miss your point. He had decent production there. Why do we care what their record was?

The offers from Ole Miss, Villanova, and Sexton Hall seem to suggest he's seen as a likely P5 contributor.

Watch the highlights and tell me Pacific is his level

Da Lama sees all. Da Lama knows all.

Crazy thing was he was an elite 5 star and people thought he was next from Canada like RJ Barrett level as a 14/15 year old. Like here’s an article from back in 2019.

Recruitment doesn't mean offers.
They're called highlights for a reason.
I've seen the highlights as well as the game in Boulder live.
Winning promotes winning, losing fosters losing. They are both habits. Fisher has the bad one.
I guess if Fisher is who they can get then that's who they get. I just don't think he moves the needle.
In order for CU to get out of the cellar they need this guy to be more than a contributor.
