Travis Hunter Appreciation Thread (Awards: HE12MAN, Walter Camp, Biletnikoff, Bednarik, Lott, Paul Hornung, AP PotY)

The game dudes (Brock and the other guy) we're focused on what the team's W/L record needs to be for 12 to get the Heisman.

To me that's offensive to our team.

Let's just kick ass the rest of the year and leave no doubt..
We need to try like hell to get to at least 8-4 for him to have a solid chance to win against a 12-0 Cam Ward or 11-1 Milroe
6-6 and he gets invited, but finishes 4th or 5th sadly. It matters that the collective team success is related to Travis as it has been for the first 5 games

TH using a cane as he heads to the bus. (at about 12:40) Doesn't look concerning, but he's not a guy to use a 'crutch' unless he felt he needed it. (I never saw a football team have a cane, as a medical supply. And a red one - I hope Mac doesn't see that)

The media is backing TH for the Heisman more today. Good to see.

when was the last time a 185 pounder won?

Devonta Smith, WR for Alabama, won it a couple years ago at about 170 lbs.

I think there’s a media consensus right now that Travis is the best player in the country and it’s not even close. I think some voters are going to vote the traditional way of “QB on a top SEC (or ACC with Ward this year) team”, but I think as long as Travis stays healthy and plays in 11-12 games, there will be far too much media noise about him being a generational player doing unprecedented things for him to not get the vote.

That's a rolling suitcase. Definitely not a cane.
