I absolutely love this young man and his smile. You can tell he loves playing the game. His joy is infectious.

I agree. I'm just sharing what he recently posted.I'm sure Travis wants to get back out there, but unless they received different news from doctors last night/this morning I can't imagine CP lets him play
It's just a liver - rub some dirt on it and get back out there
CU football has generally been dangerous for the liver in recent history.
Best way to heal a liver is a few shots of tequila, not dirt. It's just a liver - rub some dirt on it and get back out there

Shilo needs to trail him at all times so he can lateral his INTs.I wonder if Travis would come back first on defense where he's able to control the contact. I worry much more at WR where he'd be the one being hit.
Half the posters here do more damage to their livers than that hit did to his. It's just a liver - rub some dirt on it and get back out there

I assume he won't have any contact this week. Again, EVERYONE in the world knows what he can do. He doesn't need to hit and go through contact drills - hurt or not.Even not being in pads, if they're letting him go full speed and layout and fall on the ground, that has to mean he's been fully cleared, right?
He doesn't need to have contact in practice at all. He needed to get that contact work in during Spring and a bit of Fall Camp, but there's zero reason for him to be part of any full contact periods during the season.I assume he won't have any contact this week. Maybe. Medical clearance seems to only be the first hurdle to overcome. It allows a player to practice and for Coach Prime to determine if he's ready. CP treats injuries much more conservatively than any coach I've ever seen. Player parents have got to love that.If he is full go from the doctors then he should be dominating Friday night vs Stanford.
