That would also mean the last sentence about 76 points being 87% of the total available is also a typo because the total points available would be 88 and a blowout for Travis. Not 76-64. I think the chart is wrongMy guess is the article is a typo and should 20 of 29
Hunter - 20
Jeanty - 8
Gabriel - 1
I don't really get how they all add up if Hunter was also #2 in another 7 ballots. Seems like the score between him and Jeanty should be higher, but no clue how they weight it all
He could have earned a maximum of 87pts ( all first place votes). He earned 76, which is 87% of the possible total. Jeanty earned 73.5%That would also mean the last sentence about 76 points being 87% of the total available is also a typo because the total points available would be 88 and a blowout for Travis. 60 TDs with 6 picks ... and his WRs were, checks notes, Ja'Marr Chase and, umm, Justin Jefferson. Also, how good was Joe Burrow's Heisman campaign? What a ridiculous season
All three have been absolute studs. The most legendary college offense of my life60 TDs with 6 picks ... and his WRs were, checks notes, Ja'Marr Chase and, umm, Justin Jefferson.
Is that the word?Speak for yourself - i'm invested
This is confusing because the chart says he got 20 first place votes but the article says "Hunter was named the No. 1 choice on 28 of those 29 ballots obtained by CBS Sports. He was among the top two choices on 27 of 29. His 76 total points were 87% of the points available."
They don't match up at all...

Apparently he suffered a career ending neck injury in the 2nd game of his second season.Based on these stats, I'm not sure David Pollack actually played the game either.

DuuuudeIf the ratio above holds, he would earn 2,420 pts. Jayden Daniels had 2029 last year.

Why do people keeping asking these same questions over and over? He said he’s playing. Let him be.
Dude I graduated 10 years ago from CU & was 2ish when RS won the Heisman, I know very very little about him....why would you expect Hunter to be super knowledgeable about a guy who won it decades ago?I get the age thing, but you are joining a group of ultra-exclusive people and there is a person that played on the same field as you, and has a special locker, and has a trophy and a sign in the hall, and you are not familiar with anything about how he played 8-man football, ran for over 2,000 yards, got drafted and played for the Bears, and then tragically. committed suicide not that long ago. Teaching him about him, so he can make nice comments about it would be fantastic.

I’m happy that he’s playing, but it’s his call. He’s already given a ton to CU.Why do people keeping asking these same questions over and over? He said he’s playing. Let him be.
Also, what’s the point of the trying to win games during the season if you don’t play in the bowl game the team earned? Once you get enough on film, you shut it down and stand around in sponsors’ clothing, training for the draft?
With the modern NIL, these guys are paid like pros. In fact, Travis just signed a huge Adidas deal today.
So, every team that doesn’t get into the playoffs now just plays all the back ups or kids who aren’t going into the draft? What the point of the bowls when doing that?
So glad our team continues to ball out. So looking forward to this bowl.
Travis is getting interviewed pre-Heisman and there was a question about Rashaan and he said he did not know that much about him, and that all I know is that he has a trophy. Love you Travis, but that is not good enough for me. Can someone please educate him as much as possible, and I really hope that Chris Fowler is part of the ceremony and can weave a good tale about Rashaan and his challenges
Donating some of his NIL deal to his high school so teachers can buy supplies? What a great guy.I didn't want to go thru all the posts, so sorry if this is a repeat.
The best, most complete TH article I've seen. We are so lucky to have shared in this.
For a lot of the country, if they think of Colorado they picture Disney Frozen but everyone is a cowboy."I definitely did not want to go to [Colorado]. I did not want to stay in Colorado when I first got there."
Interesting comment. And I bet it is a common opinion among football players from the South. The outside perspective of what Colorado is like for young people who have never been there must be greatly different than what it is actually like. And I think that those of us from Colorado don't quite understand that.
Unless he's talking about a lack of black people - but I don't think he was.
Just like how I imagine most of the South as Deliverance, but with more methFor a lot of the country, if they think of Colorado they picture Disney Frozen but everyone is a cowboy.
