Travis Hunter Appreciation Thread

I feel like CU and it's fans owe TH a lot, for the wonderful 2 years he's given us.
TH owes CU nothing. On the other hand, he's a great guy.

For laughs: what if TH signed 1,000 official CU #12 jerseys and gave them to the NIL program or Buffs for Life, for re-sale, as a 'goodbye' gift?

A jersey signed by the Heisman winning, greatest college player ever, would be worth a few bucks..

Gotta love how America celebrates a strange collection of stats as an exemplary achievement. Guarantee TH and most other athlete give a care about this manufactured stat line.

I presume they're talking about in a game? Cause I would think Owen Marecic did this at Stanford on season basis (but am too lazy to check). I know he had an offensive and defensive touchdown in the same game... as did someone else in vague memory (Weddle?).

Yup. One vote out of 929 (for Heisman), so, in other words, no real bearing.
Unless it's 464-464 Hunter vs Jeanty.

It’s more a comment that the American sports media is too wrapped up in statistics to justify a player’s quality.

Whereas , it’s very simple to watch a player like Travis play the game and realize how special he is.

Like the football geniuses who would look at his defensive stats, see 0 INTs, 0 PBUs and 0 tackles, so they would conclude he did nothing on defense all game.
