A metallic satin. Whatever the **** that means.
Gold, black, black is awesome but I wouldn't mind these on Friday night either.
They are currently practicing in the white helmets, because the gold are getting game ready. My guess is they are going GBB.
Seems like metallic would be a no-brainer on the Gold and Silver helmets, but on the others?

Oh, ok. I honestly never noticed it. Kind of weird.
In theory the flywire is there to keep the neck flat and to keep it from stretching. In reality it is just nike uniform decoration.
