Uniform Prediction Thread - 2017 Game 5 - UCLA (Away)

Still looking for that first win in B-B-B going all the way back to when it was first worn in 2011

What is happening to college football??? This “white at home” stuff asinine. Unless you are a team that traditionally does - LSU, Cowboys, Redskins - please stop.
There’s rules. This is not Nam.
Yawn. I don’t get it just because I think white is generally the ugliest uniform.

Reminds me of this:

So, does fUCLA have white helmets? I know they have those lame dark blue ones. Just curious if they're doing their own stormtrooper look.

Actually, their stormtrooper against our all-black could look pretty sweet.

Unless they're making a late addition, it appears they'll be wearing the gold helmets with the white uniforms.

It's not like those look bad, when we wear out all whites with the gold helmets it looks good. BUT, the all black unis are sick, especially at night.

Looks like they're going back to a lighter and more traditional UCLA blue. You can see how much darker the blue was last year:
750x422

I'm not a huge fUCLA fan, but I've always thought their unis in football and basketball had a classic look that didn't need to be messed with.

Not sure why they went with that "midnight blue" for a while, but I definitely think going back was a smart idea.

Of course, thinking about the classic look thing gets me grumpy that we don't sick with our normal look more often.

(Yeah, yeah, yeah - kids, recruits, I'm old, blah blah blah. STFU and get off my lawn.)
