The bye week the condoms had this past week scares me more then the team. No bye week and I think the Buffs win for sure. I did hear they only practiced 2 days a week the past 2 weeks, so not sure who that benefits?? The momentum the Buffs are riding will hopefully overcome?
The only game I have seen the rubbers play was vs. Texas and a lot has changed since then.

The practiced twice in the first week of the bye, then according to Helton, they are using the second week (game week) to prepare for us AND Utah.

well the KD fly finally connected vs asu - I am sure there are more plays that have been "set ups".

Huh? Yes, Fisher was extremely fortunate that Mustafa and Abrams bailed him out after getting torched in coverage. What does that have to do with Wigley being abused by Harry (and Darby) until the coaches wised up and removed him from the game? Harry had 3 receptions that all came against Wigley and drew a PI call on 3rd and long that extended their second drive that eventually led to a TD. How many times have we talked about DBs being in position but not turning their heads and making a play?

Harry making catches is just going to happen no matter who covers him, much like Shenault. Watch the game again and you will see Harry had basically no YAC. That's important, no matter how much you want to devalue it.

I'm not devaluing him not allowing YAC. I'm devaluing the shoulder shrug mentality some have taken with Wigley being tasked with covering a team's #1 WR, especially one as good as Harry. Wigley has not proven himself to be a good CB at this level and he allowed all 3 of Harry's catches for a 20 yard average (plus a crucial PI as I mentioned), and gave up the deep one for a TD. As I said, being in position is 50% of the job. Actually making a play on the ball is also important.

Some hack attempting to predict outcomes this week. Maybe I’m nit picking but I hate prognosticators who do not do their homework. Re: the point he makes about the 4th TD from Shenault being with under a minute to go. Uh, yeah. In the 3rd quarter!!

What you actually said is that being in position "is 50% of the job and doesn’t matter in the slightest." Yes, we all want CBs who can make a play on the long ball. Watch any college football, though, and you will see that that there are very few who are able to do so. I'd probably rather have Abrams [and maybe Miller, but who knows] covering the thrown-to receiver than Wigley. Still, I'd rather have Wigley giving up the back shoulder throw to Harry followed by an immediate tackle, or interfering with Harry [which is the smart play in college]. than most other DBs I end up watching on Saturdays, may of whom get beat for TDs on those same throws.

Interesting new shirt on sale at Fanatics. Wonder if Chev had this trademarked.
