Pac-12 Network was going to do an early "football athlete of the week" to honor Shaw tonight on their first football weekly studio show.

It will be interesting to see if they completely scrap it or give a little nod to journalism by acknowledging that the guy's a criminal who then created a hoax.

The "journalism" of conference networks has been under fire ever since the Big Ten Network took about two weeks before it acknowledged that the Penn State scandal was occurring.
