Mac called two straight TOs and gave it Lee. Just felt false. Like he was, "Here you go, haven't given you any sort of chance at all this year, but here's a couple carries so you get in the box score." Lee looked pissed. Rightly so.What happened?

This season is toast either way, doesn’t matter whether he’s let go this week or next.Mac has to be gone now
Please keep him around for another week. We’d like to say goodbye.Mac has to be gone now
Would like to see GB installed for the last game. See if we can get the kids to not quit.
Montez is too gun shy, give him the week off to recuperate. Lytle needs the work.
Might as well see what Chiv can do before new staff takes over. MM looked like he was doing more sideline coaching than ever in this game, until the 4th quarter when he looked like he was getting ready to just start walking home
Agreed on Montez being so labotimized about turnovers that he does not take any of his patented shots down field anymore. He is perfect on throw aways to the crowd though, cannot stand that!
No. Zero need to create some sort of facade that he (or any other assistant) got any shot at the full time job.He can stay if he's willing to go back to being a position coach. Fire him now, let him coach the Cal game (because it doesn't matter IMO), and get the search going.
C’mon man. That’s an Allbuffs-ism right up there with ‘Barzil’ and ‘I want this clock’.
I don’t think the OL was this bad in his dream. I really don’t think it has been MM holding him back.Keeps current players and recruits plugged in. Chiv may have been knee capped by MM? Feels like this is not the offense he dreamed of running.

He gave an interview on KOA after the game. It was after about 5 commercial breaks, and only lasted about 2 minutes.I listened to the KOA post game but didn't hear from the coach. Lots of interviews with the players. Does Mac usually give a post game interview on Koa?

Must've been when I was down at the corner store buying another six pack.He gave an interview on KOA after the game. It was after about 5 commercial breaks, and only lasted about 2 minutes.
Nothing new. Got a bit defensive with a Mark Johnson "Heavy" comment, and once Mark clarified that he meant "losses were heavy," MM went back to his usually routine.
That’s why I feel good about a new coach...we have enough talent where a good coach could make us instantly competitive.Winfree: "We have way too much talent to be losing all these games. There is no reason we should be losing like this."
Wow. He is not afraid to tell the truth.

What was up with the no snowballs announcement from the ref. We're there a lot?Well, at least he couldn't blame it on injuries; it seemed like most everyone was back.
We went and it was nice to be there for the seniors. It was somewhat of a sad sight, them running out to their families in the snow in front of a mostly-empty stadium. It got better (I think on KOA they said 17,000 or so tickets scanned) later, but ugh. Too cold, too disappointing. We left in the third quarter when they started to give up all those points; my fingers and toes were freezing by that point.
