I know people have been high on Roper but I just don't see improvement in Montez's game. His game management just isn't there.

Agree, but hard to improve a QBs game when he has almost not blocking in front of him.

Utah at times rushing two and still getting quick pressure on the QB. Try to run the football on 1st down and consistently it is little or no gain leaving us in forced passing situations.

Doesn't excuse some bad decisions and a failure to develop other elements of his game but in a lot of other situations I think you would see a different QB in Montez.

The OL sucks yes, but there have been A LOT of plays where Montez rolls out too soon making it near impossible for the OL to hold a block. He excels in the 5 yard pass. Anything longer and he seem to panic if his first option isn't available.

I don't disagree about the consistent 1st down run for 2 yards.
