Volleyball hosts #6 ranked Stanford (Sunday, 2:00 MT)

Such a fun match to watch. Finally they played at a high level for the entire match (except a few points here and there... to be expected). And they brought the defense constantly, out digging Stanford by a wide margin. You could see how much this meant to them. We all remembered that they had been ahead 2-0 on Stanford last season here at Coors only to lose in five sets. So it was such a sweet victory for the team.

Even though they dropped the third, it was an incredibly fun set to watch. A high level of play and the back and forth on the scoring. Just a great match today.

Absolutely! And the crowd was loud and really into the match too.

The Buffs never let this one get away from them in the 4th set. They were determined it was going to end with that set and there would be no set 5.

I'm really kicking myself for taking one of the twins for a driving lesson instead of watching the finish. But it was his first time behind the wheel and we needed the daylight.
Anyway, the boys had a match today that followed the same formula as the Buffs yesterday. Close for 3 sets, then put it away in the fourth, but on the road against the #7 team in Tidewater. Even more special, the oldest had the middle block to seal the deal in the 4th set.
Really love watching volleyball in all forms. Such a great sport.
