Maybe There will be a surprise presser with Salisman(?) where he announces the immediate retirement of Phil, and the terminations of Rick George and KD this week. Then announce the national searches for a charismatic AD and HC. All funded by a mysterious and sizable donation that rolled in Monday or Tuesday morning, with a very detailed note.

They will wait until at least 6 games in to see how they are doing in conference.
I also suspect RG is already working back channels to find himself a job out of college athletics. Not because he feels heat from the administration, but because he wants to move on before it gets to that point.
If Saliman was the man, he would quietly, behind the scenes, divest Dr. Phil of any say in the AD and assume it himself. Tell RG he wants a plan for the remedy by November 1, and if he doesn't like it, send RG. LC and certainly HCKD out the door. RG doesn’t need another job. He has enough to retire comfortably now, and he’s of an age where it wouldn’t be surprising for him to do so.
Update: statement was made! This is great news gentlemen. This means we could be on track for a late season or post season firing
