I don't have an opinion yet. I'm waiting for Mick Ronson to weigh in, and then I'll support his viewpoint.

man, i didn't realize i was such a zealot. :smile2: Junction was goofin' on me last night as well for the helmets. actually, the goofball geometry crap on the pants and shoulder-pads and unconvincing silver numerals bother me more. basically, i think Nike took a dump on us.

i really didn't notice yesterday, to be honest.

oh no. you got to pick your own petty battles and channel the hate there....that way, the big stuff like how much we suck seems like a side issue.

i watched on TV so i suspect the brightness and clarity of the light on a beautiful Colorado day succeeded in making the helmet color seem closer to the pale gold of the past. so, it was illusion. helmets are still a foot-note to South Florida.
 
I think Hawk is going to be a prick and work powder blue into the uniforms next years as screw you to us...Man will that backfire!
 
I think the black pants make the helmet look more normal. The gold pants really make the helmets look radioactive.
