Wes! And Clifford the Big Red Dog is out!
Agreed. GMFKThank you George.
Dom has issues once he gets into foul trouble, and it seems to be getting worse, not better.Good God. That was awful. Essentially we played without 3 starters in Josh, Dom and Fletch.
True, but this is a good basketball team. At least we've got a good record. Totally shocked by the performance tonight, but what do fans need if 18-7 isn't good enough to come out? And I'm not aware of basketball fans anywhere that show up just as well for a 7-18 team as for one that's 18-7.Saw that you guys were arguing about the attendance (pathetic tonight as usual) and I thought I'd chime in. People in Boulder and at CU simply do not care about the basketball team or any other team for that matter. It's the sad truth but one I've come to accept over the years. If the team isn't good, people aren't gonna show up let alone know a single player on the team. Seems to be a problem throughout the PAC 12 though...
True. This is a "good" team but not good enough to attract the casual fan which pretty much defines the Boulder community and CU (in my experience). B10 schools consistently draw good crowds for 18-7 and worse teams. And there's a huge difference between 7-18 (bad) 14-10 (average) and 18-7 (good). You basically proved my point that we struggle to draw crowds even with a good teamTrue, but this is a good basketball team. At least we've got a good record. Don't forget to thank Hawkinson - one free throw and George couldn't have saved us.Thank you George.
Team is going to be pretty average next year without Scott...desperation win at home versus the worst team in the PAC?
This may not be the "positive" example we want to pin our hopes on.Next years team is going to have a completely different look. Just like it had a completely different look when Dre left. We have some serious ballers coming next year. Its going to be a totally different team.
