Way too early 2018 CU Draft Thread

Lindsay doesn't need to be a special back to be drafted. He needs to show his versatility as a runner, pass catcher, and willing blocker and he'll get an opportunity from someone in the mid rounds.
Don't get this comment. Lindsay already is a more than willing blocker, I don't think he has much more to show there. The Stanford game comes to mind when he blocked Solomon Thomas (49ers!!) on a TD throw when Thomas was mutilating a backup OL who had just come in.
Receiving:

He also caught 53 balls last year for almost 500 yards. He already is a complete back. The knocks on him will always be size and top end speed. If he can show a breakaway fourth gear this year, he becomes a much more viable NFL RB. Normally I'd say there is no way he finds it, but that info that came out last year about just how bad his knee injury was makes me think he could find it. He works hard and he's gotten better every year.

A long shot for a high draft pick, but he is a hell of a college competitor and I love him to death.

Sorry, I should have said "..continue to show his versatility...". I was just responding to Mtn's comment about Lindsay not being a "special back". My point was that he doesn't have to be McCaffrey, Cook, or Fournette "special" to get drafted; he just needs to continue to show his versatility as a runner, receiver and willing blocker and someone will give him a shot.

College football is full of talented backs, many who will have better measurable than Lindsay. He may get drafted late but likely a UDFA.

He does have the kind of effort, attitude, and commitment though that coaches love. If he gets into the right situation he has a great shot at being one of those guys who makes a career out of special teams and being a quality depth guy.

I'm not as sold on Bobo as some others here. Yes, he's got more prototypical size than Ross or Fields, but he's still very wiry (albeit a very good blocker regardless), and I have major questions about his speed. He's not nearly as dynamic as Ross and Fields.

One guy I haven't seen mentioned is Leo Jackson. If he ahs a good year, I could see him getting a look or two.
