Way Too Early Bowl Predictions

Can’t tell where this season is headed, 3 more wins seems very doable, especially if Good Montez shows up 3 more times.
What bothers me most about recent Buff history is the mediocre standard required to reach a bowl game - win half your games, including three potential freebies in OOC - meaning only 3 wins in 9 conference games could put us in a bowl. Not only do we often stumble in OOC (I don’t care how good you imagine Air Force is, losing to them at home was a disaster) - but only once in the 8 years of PAC12 play have we won more than 2 conference games.
It could take a couple of years to assess whether MT has us headed to meet and exceed this mediocre standard of winning half our games. If it happens this year that would be a really good indication of better things to come.
