I don't think it is much of a stretch to agree that one factor in the decision for many young African-American players to move from elsewhere in this country to attend a school and area that is largely white may be that the Head Coach and several assistant coaches are black.

Yes.

The University of Wisconsin also has a black undergraduate population of 2%. Assuming that Madison, WI hasn’t gotten less diverse over the past 25 years, I’d say Coach Tucker can offer some insights for how his players can navigate a predominately white university.
