What if, for an entire season, each winning college football team took all of its opponent’s land?

I'm confused by something, if we lose to team X, then win next week at team Y, does team X get team Ys land?

No - When you win, you get whatever land the team you are playing at that time. So if you play someone with no land, you don't get any extra land.

So - if we loose to UW, UW will get our land. Then, if we beat UCLA, we'll get whatever UCLA has at that time, if any.

No. We would get back on the board with Team Y's land, if Team Y has land to take over.

So, the only way to get land back is to beat someone who hasn't lost, or who has just recently beaten someone else who hadn't lost?

I think someone was saying that last year, Air Force lost to Boise, who lost to SDSU, who Air Force beat later on.

Therefore, Air Force got their old territory back.

Let's see... UCLA, Arizona and Oregon State own nothing and so no way to pick up territory. Right now, the Cougs are our next hope for land.
