i would like to believe that too. But it's by far the most logical explanation there is if hawk is not fired now....
If it's true, bohn is looking at 2 choices:
1. Fire hawk now, which is the move he wanted to make last november. In the process rid yourself of a qb who would be showing that he is willing to walk out on his teammates and the university he is supposed to represent. But, in the process, burn the redshirt of a player for the sake of 3 meaningless games, all for the sake of making a coaching move which probably has no positive value to the program in the long run beyond satisfying the fans with a firing 3 weeks sooner than it will happen otherwise
or
2. Fire hawk at the end of the year, keep cody (who, sadly, is probably the healthy qb on the roster who gives them the best chance to compete the next 3 weeks) at qb, keep working behind the scenes to line up the next hc and coaching staff and keep eating the **** sandwich he's been chewing on ever since benson and distephano overruled him on firing hawk when it should have been done.
I can see the reasons #2 might make sense. I won't villify bohn for making that decision. But at this point i really want him to go with #1. I want this mother****ing, two faced, arrogant, duplicitous mother****er gone now. now! now!!! i want him fired, humiliated and run out of town tomorrow. I want his route out of town to be lined by 50,000 fat men dropping trou and showing him their bare fat asses while he leaves. Come on mike, i know you have no good choices left. So make the choice that feels right. Fire him now!!!!
