What team were you most wrong about this season?

Rosier was such a mess for Miami, he really blew their season lol.

LSU for me. All the attrition + the schedule made me skeptical. But having a real QB meant they played with a lot of leads and could finally unleash terror on opposing QBs.

My win total guess for CU was half full.

I'd take the blame but I believed the talent might pull off 10 wins. I think we had the juice to at least win 8.

I wasn't in charge of motivation and strategy...

I thought LSU was going to be really bad, thought usc was a qb away and I thought auburn would push for the west.

Oklahoma. I expected the loss of Mayfield and a 2nd year slump from Riley would hurt them more than it did.

Second place goes to the entire damn Pac12 conference - nearly every team surprised me with their race to mediocrity. I expected several to better than mediocre, and several to be worse than mediocre - instead it was a collective pact to race to the middle.

other than the bitter tears induced by our Buffs, i thought ohio state was going to fall off a little more because of the troubles they had; i thought oklahoma couldn't possibly play less defense than prior yers; i thought usc would be better and that uw would be a bit worse and that asu would suck much worse and that ucla would improve more than they did; i thought nd was overrated and would get upset by one of the dog **** teams they played; and i thought the fuskers would win more games than they did.

Auburn. I saw the talent on the field the first game of the season and was just wowed. They completely sucked after that.

I kinda expected a step back this season since they had to travel to Georgia and Bama, but yes, it has been rough.

CSU.

I really thought this was the year that they had a defense and a stud QB and Bobo was gonna pull it.....

Sorry, I can't do it.

So you had them pegged at 7-5 preseason? Great call.
I wasn't that high on Wisconsin. I have to look back at that thread we do before the season, but I think I picked Northwestern to win the Big 10 West. At the least, I remember thinking I'd been very wrong about Northwestern when the lost to Duke and Akron early. And I wasn't very high on Wisconsin.

How could I forget about TCU? I wasn't necessarily expecting a Big 12 title, but I was expecting a Top 15ish season.

On the positive side, like Duff I thought this was going to be a really tough year for Wazzu. They did an amazing job of rallying together after the tragedy in the offseason. One of the best stories of this season.

Miami
Oregon (maybe top qb in the draft and Leavitt year 2 doesn't mean 4th in the north. Herbert entirely unimpressive this year and that Stanford debacle...wow)

Florida State is obvious
Stanford and the legend of Bryce Love ends with a thud
Wisconsin in a very weak B10 West flopped

I nailed Nebraska at 4 wins

At the beginning of the season, I saw 5 to seven wins, but thought MM would be back no matter what. I was pretty sure about that.

I buffed that up. Props to RG.

The Jags. Thought they had a real super bowl run in them this year. 7 game L streak and coaches are getting fired. So much talent. :(

Think TCU had something like 21 season ending injuries. Tough breaks for them all year.

To answer Duff... I have Wisconsin at 7-5 ish every year. That's their talent level.
