What team were you most wrong about this season?

Colorado. The offense specifically. The D was a little better up front than I thought they would be and fought hard every game until they finally wor3 down in the 4th.

I didn't expect a total collapse but I did think Georgia would fall off a little bit after losing something like 35 seniors off last years team. I know they recruit well but so does a lot of the SEC and I expected them to drop 2-3 games in the regular season, especially early.

Oregon State. I did not think it was possible for CU to lose to them. They turned it on and our staff and kids scratched there heads and stood there shell shocked. I haven’t been that pissed since Hawkins.

A&M. Thought they would struggle a little bit more than they did this year with Jimbo in his first year, but that team is going to be scary in a couple of years.

in the P12 I thought Oregon and Stanford would be a lot better

Wisconsin stands out as surprisingly bad, Michigan St too

FSU being as bad as they are along with Miami

also didn't think Oklahoma would be cruising without the Bake, guess I wrote off Kyler Murray too soon

The Buffs. The closed practices and in-house reporters left people thinking, again, this was a team with skilled players at all positions and reasonable depth. Personally, I've been on record as thinking MM was not a good coach. The craving for success caused CU to lose a fortune on his contract, and if no one else, RG should have realized that maybe luck and Leavitt were the keys in MM's 1 good year.

Please proof all of my stuff. As a dyslexic my spelling is a constant embarrassment. Fortunately I’ve been able to overcome it and get to a point in life where I can just laugh when someone is an uptight douche.

Miami was a darling of a lot of people. I’m just not a fan of MR as a HC. I suppose I got that one right.

Wisconsin and Washington are my head scratchers.

Will do

I think everyone could say CU - especially after week 5, lol.

In the better than expected area, I was surprised by Wazzu, Herm Edwards, OU and their QB (blanking), Texass, Florida.

In the worse than expected area, obviously us, UCLA, Khalil Tate, Oregon, Scott Frost (lol), Wisconsin, Florida State.

A special shout out to CSU, who were a special kind of godawful this year and are still stuck with Bobo.

I actually think Nebraska will be a 10+ win team next year. They will probably kick our ass too. They improved dramatically down the stretch
Spoken like a true Husker fan. WTF?

I think 9 wins for next season is the best to be expected. HCSF needs to build depth pretty much everywhere. The DL and OL are still a major work in progress.

It's interesting to look at. Herm was handed a pretty veteran team ready for a solid year, ended up with the same record as Todd Graham in his last year and people keep coming back and saying how amazing he did. I would expect a pretty big fall off next season.

That's true. However, I was expecting a disaster, so really anything other than a disaster was a surprise to me.

if you dropped me into the 2nd quarter of the Oregon-Stanford game i thought UO was pretty good. at the end i thought Stanford might be pretty good.

kinda iffy now. i thought Chip might do better out the gate in Westwood. and then i thought he was going to burn it to the ground without apology....but they rallied for some W's.

i never believe in Miami, really. not since 2000 or so. and Richt is famous for that underachieve/over-rank wheelhouse.

i'm a bit on the Auburn take, too. schedule is tough so OK.....Stidham doesn't seem to get better with experience. which surprises me.

UCLA is understandable. They played 9 bowl eligible teams out of 12, beat 2 out of the 3 that didn't make a bowl and their only loss was to the Buffs when we were rolling. Really tough schedule.

true. they also committed to Speight being the starter and then he got hurt right away.

For me probably VT because I thought they would win the Coastal and they were a total flop.

2nd worst:
I picked Oregon to win the Pac12 North.

Yeah, UCLA making a bowl game would have been a tremendous coaching job by Kelly.
