What transfer will make the biggest impact this upcoming season?

Salter and Oatis seem to be the obvious answers so I’ll go with some dark horses.

Martavius French is a tackling machine with 17 TFL’s last year at UTSA.

Tawfiq Byard is a hard hitting, young safety who could end up as a starter.

Joseph Williams WR from Tulsa jumps off the film. High points the ball very well and could be a red zone threat this year.

Zach Atkins is a really athletic TE from a small school and if the offensive philosophy changes like many of us expect, he could be an important piece.
Outside of QB, the LBs are the biggest question mark in my book.

Hopeful that French and or Hughes balls out.

Hughes is a monster of a LB on the recent WOM Video
He looks like a real top LB
Amazing to see the roster evolution for the past 3 years
Middle LB is such a hard position to predict. Landman never looked physically like the beast he was. He wasn’t fast or huge. It was all between the ears: How quickly he saw and felt what was happening and beat the ballcarrier to the hole. Insane instincts and understanding.

NHG was also a beast in the middle who looked a bit more like a beast.

We’ve had tons of guys who looked the part. Very few who were it.

Cerebral position. Have to read and react quickly. Could be the biggest and fastest but if you can’t diagnose a play you’re screwed.

Even a guy with very limited athleticism, ex. Rick Gamboa, can be useable at MLB.
