What's that thud you heard: Latest Rankings

Ahahaha...ESPN's bottom Ten has both ND and Michigan (with an upsidedown helmet!).

Penn state plays 5 out of the 10 in their season schedule.

Hmmm

It was hard to notice, but CU was in the "Almost almost got a vote" category.

i voted the Buffs #1, but...

unfortunately, they don't tablulate my vote. i wonder if i left a hanging chad or something...

Cal is misplaced IMHO, they should be higher, and Clemson only got a sniff in one of the polls (bull****, they're good this year).

Clemson did look good for much of that game but I still think they'll have trouble moving the ball if teams stack up the run and force them to pass. Davis and Spiller sure are fun to watch.

I dunno, there was a point there, near the end of the third quarter, when it looked to me like Clemson was imploding. Giving up a safety, nearly giving up another, confusion, chaos. It was a train wreck. I give them a lot of credit for pulling their stuff together and solidifying the win.

Yes it definitely looked like the wheels were coming off for Clemson and like the announcers said, that would've been a devastating loss if they blew a 3-TD lead at home.

I don't understand. Why would you want Florida st. to suck if they're on our schedule, and if we beat them that gives us notoriety.

Seriously, are we gonna bitch if a team with a worse record recieves the better bowl if we approach it from that point of view.

we better not because we'll get dumped out of any bowl ops that are the Cotton, Alamo, or Houston bowls if ANY of those bowls have the chance to take ANY of the Texas Big XII teams.

it's a total joke. sure, we don't travel well as a fan base compared to the locals (CU fans are not generally seeing Texas as a destination spot)....but, when it intervenes in meting out bowl bids it's sort of lame-o-saurus rex IMO.
