when was the last time Penn St. beat someone "good"

seems like in the last 2-3 years, they are ranked in the teens and "this is gonna be the year" and they whalloped by the first good team they play then have a decent conference season. samo samo.

i'm trying to get into this Bama-PSU game but i think Bama (already up 14) is going to win easily.

plus, i can't Herbstreit as an analyst.
 
They beat LSU in the Capital One Bowl at the end of last season, and they beat Ohio State at the 'shoe in 2008.
