Where are all the Buffaloes?

There's the land for CU-Boulder South, which is South of the on-ramp to 36 from Foothills Parkway. There's a random building with a sign on it that reads "CU-Boulder South/Serving the needs of future students." It's in the flood plain, which is why CU has never developed it (city won't let them).

This myth has gotten out of hand. The city of Boulder can't stop CU from building anywhere they want to. If CU really wants to build there, they will. The issue, ironically enough, is water. Unless CU is willing to provide it's own water source, they can't get a tap down there. If they want to truck in the water, or build thier own reservoir and water treatment facility on the South Boulder Creek, there isn't a damn thing the City of Boulder can do to stop them.
