Where will HCKD rank all time?

I can't foresee any good way out of this mess.

I just don't see any way that the firing and hiring can go in the right order: PD then RG then KD.

Instead, what I think happens is that KD gets canned at or near the end of the season and RG hires the replacement.

Then RG gets fired shortly thereafter, and PD hires the replacement.

Then PD retires, and the new chancellor is sadled with his ****ty hire - and if, IF the new chancellor actually tries to fix the ****tiness, it will take them 4+ years before they even get to hire their own people.

Yeah I’ve never really hoped for loss after loss with a CU coach until KD. He’s that bad I want everything necessary to happen in order for him to get fired. A new level of incompetence
When we were 20-10 and showing some signs of life, I was totally conflicted.

On the one hand, I really don’t want to go winless. But on the other, I believe it will take that level of embarrassment to invoke change.

KD will go down as the darkest days of CU football. Sadly, due to the changes that have happened and the changes that are on-deck and in the hole will make a complete rebuild and culture change for the football program even more difficult. If the PAC collapses, the rebuild will take place in a G5 equivalent.

The levels to which he is destroying this program have never been seen. He is by for the worst coaching hire CU has ever made. In a category by himself. Embo is like 10 steps better and that is saying something. **** I hate him as a coach and that he has anything to do with this program. And I ****ing hate RG for putting us here.

The worst.

The external risk factors due to macro CFB shifts make Karl so much worse than Embree.

Embree was bad, but he was just bad. The situation we find ourselves in now dictates that Karl is easily the worst imo

I believe there’s a good amount of recency bias to these responses. We won’t truly know how bad he was until several years after he is gone. Fairbanks was similar in that he was just here for the check. He was a Scott Frost type who blamed everybody and everything other than himself for the disasters that were regularly taking place on the football field. Hawkins was a fraud who was fine as long as he could sell his fraud. Once it was obvious he was full of ****, the wheels came off in a hurry. Embree was just flat out incompetent. Had absolutely no idea what to do and had no plan or direction. I see a lot of the qualities of all three of those guys in Dorrell.

All that said, if he goes winless, it would be very difficult to claim he’s anything other than the worst head football coach in CU history. That’s the bar he has to reach - just win one game to maybe not be considered the absolute worst coach in the 125+ year history of the program. Go winless and remove all doubt.

He’s the grim reaper of CU football. Any improvements that may have happened under HCMM and Tucker have been shat on and thrown overboard. When he gets fired CU as a program will be in the exact same spot it was when Embree was fired but the landscape has drastically changed since and so have the options of getting out of the mess.

Eeyore is the worst coach in this program's history. Fired one OC for another who is worse through two games. Has no idea how to fix the issues with this program.
