Which Buffs get drafted in 2019?

Howell really likes Winfree for the NFL Draft.

Sees the possibility of Lynott, Montez or Stefanou leaving early.

If Stefanou has a good season hard to see him staying. At his age he doesn't have many seasons to make NFL money. Probably the only way he stays is if somebody from the league tells him he won't have a shot at making a team.

So, did Howell read allbuffs, or did you both get inspiration for the same info from somewhere else?
I think it's just a pretty obvious topic. Lots of people from just about every outlet started the 2019 topic. But I'd like to think that Brian and others check out AB to see what topics are trending with fans in order to stimulate column ideas.

Not sure it has been mentioned, but Broncos are doing a local Pro Day and they invited Worthington, McMillian, Lewis, and ............ Gamboa!!! Which one is not like the others? Love the guy, but his 40 at the CU pro day just makes no sense? Why not Edwards?

Javier may have declined the invitation.

Because he did not want a massive DT to run a faster 40 time than his friend at ILB! I think he will be a great coach and should see if he can get in on something like that as soon as possible. The NFL game is very hard when you are not athletic and the coaching game is pretty lucrative if you can get in early, learn, and move up the chain.

Agreed, maybe FHCMM can get him a GA job at Ole Miss

Drew Lewis 5th or 6th round pick
Trayvon Mcmillan UDFA

2020
Montez 2nd or 3rd round pick
Lynott 5th or 6th round pick
Landman 2nd round pick if he comes out early.
Mustapha Johnson 5th or 6th round pick

Splitting hairs maybe, but I don’t see Fisher having much draft potential, relative to Worthington. Late round potential for EW
Agree, I don't think he did anything to separate himself to get drafted. I think he'll get a camp invite, nothing much beyond that.

Secret Workaholic: Juwann Winfree, WR, Colorado
But a solid performance (and a highlight touchdown) at the NFLPA Bowl and a strong pro day have the versatile 6'3", 215-pound receiver back on the radar.

"Teams were skeptical about me," he explained. "They all saw the USC game, but then they didn't see that exact player again, and they wanted to know why.

"But I've been able to express just how much of a factor my health was in my season last year. So teams are excited now, because they now get to see me full go, 100 percent healthy, confidence all the way up."

Winfree's off-field problems also are in the past. He was a team captain for the Buffaloes, and he earned his degree.

"I've been through it all, and I know what it takes," he said. "I'm a leader, and I'm not going to back down from a challenge or take 'no' for an answer."
