Who is your favorite current player?

I'm not sure one of the players really rises above the rest for me at this point, although Sefo and Gillam are close. Those two, along with G. Henderson and Adkins are the most fun to watch for me. I recently re-watched the Charleston Southern game and Adkins has the potential to be a very explosive runner. He had the shiftiness and the jets to run for four TD's, albeit against lesser competition, but he was only a true Freshman at the time and hopefully rises to the next level this year.

Sefo for me.

But to throw in a guy who doesn't get a lot of pub, I'll go with Jared Bell. I think he stepped up in a big way last year in his first real action at safety and he's done everything right at CU.

I wood have to say Powell. I'm hoping he can return to his freshman running style. Pow!

Semper Gumby

Sefo. Kid took a lot of big hits, always got up. I don't know what his ceiling is as a QB, but he's tough as nails.

Straightforward question.

Nelson Spruce is the easy answer for me.

It's the name, right? Cuz you have so much fun with the name?

I second this. He is fun to watch, dedicated and tough.

Second choice is Greg Henderson for quietly being a do-everything corner (as close to a lock-down as we have and strong run support). A bright spot on a dismal defense.

Third is Nembot for his remarkable story and sacrifice to get an education a million miles from his family. Last I heard, he had not seen his folks in like 7 years.

I vote for Henderson. I tend to like the defense, especially back 7 the most anyway. For me, those positions have the most fun.

Henderson for me as well. He plays at a high level. We don't hear about him getting in trouble or doing bone head things either.

Sefo - Tough as nails and leadership
Pow Pow - Want so badly to see him back to freshman form
Gillam - nose for the ball and was all over the place

I'm partial because I got to see him play...Watanabe
<<<<what's up with the sig pic?? thanks a lot....I was going commando today.

Henderson (see post #12), Sefo (see post #7), and Pow! The guys that just work hard and do their job to their best ability should be praised. Of course, success on the field helps with support.

I'm hoping that I'm able to say Tupou and Nembot this season. (I love the big uglies.)

Right now it's Sefo. But come on, Buffs. Don't turn me into a quarterback guy. I need to see someone wrecking people out there. Gillam works for me, but it's a little premature on him too.

Sefo. I had a conversation with him on campus once, he is a great guy. Very down to earth and very humble, it makes him easy to be a fan of.

Josh Moten. Always liked the underdogs and hope he gets some PT. I blame Embree for him failing to lead us to multiple bowl victories as qb.

I'm a fan of the usual suspects. I'll throw in D.D. though in that underdog/undersized role. I know he got burned when he was in there at db, but a freshman filling in like that gave me alot of respect for him.
