No, he was still recruiting for Army.

You don't actually know that. He could have easily been visiting and in contact with CU recruits without officially being a CU coach

According to Army's rivals he was still recruiting for them as late as yesterday. Sure, I guess he could've reached out to our commits but he wasn't out on the recruiting trail for us.
I can't find that information credible if he is, in fact, going to be coaching for CU next year and have basically been in talks about it for the past 4+ days.
