Why does Castor kick off?

He seems like a good kid and it's obvious the effort's there when you see how willing he is to stick his nose in to make a tackle when necessary.

But the results for the past year and a half have been horrible. Kickoffs that go out of bounds. Kickoffs that land way too short. Kickoffs with no hang time.

Does anyone have an explanation for why we haven't seen other guys get opportunities?

Oliver doesn't have the leg for it (we've seen him try).

But why not O'Neill or Grossnickle? This seems like it would be a no-brainer considering the issues we've had on kickoffs.

Easiest scholarship ever. All he has to do is kick off maybe 2-3 times a game with zero other responsibilities. And failing miserably doesn't matter
