Will sports broadcasts start looking like Amazon's "Twitch"?

They can and should make it available to users, but do not force it on users.
If I want hot takes, I come here and read All Buffs. Maybe a stat crawl on the bottom of the screen like they do for football, due to all the fantasy football interest.

I am all in because twitch chat during football games would be so much awesome cringe. Also I want to hear the announcer say "Thanks matt@allbuffs for the 1000 bits"

If you switch Sports Broadcasting to be more like twitch, it takes out the legitimacy of Sports IMO. You see Twitch is very popular with Esports, but people watch sports to hear "experts" insights... This would not help sports

I watch twitch and apparently you don't. The top games have broadcasting teams calling the play by plays. There is plenty of insight. A lot of these games have very high level strategy and tactics.

Don't confuse a regular twitch stream from a counter strike or overwatch or league of legions match/league/tournament play.

Btw if you haven't seen a bob Ross twitch stream you haven't lived.
