Women's Golf Tees off in National Championship Rounds

It's gotten ugly now.

Absolutely horrible finish to the round. After getting it to +2 on the day a little after the turn, the wheels came off and we're now finishing up the final couple holes from +11.
 
They're still going to finish the day in a pretty good spot, probably T14. 10th place is at +14, so that finish is still possible. They're not going to get it by going low, the course just isn't giving up low scores. Only 12 individuals are under par out of 125, and 11 of them are -3 or worse. They need to keep it as close to even par and let the teams ahead of them slide downward.

Looks like a tie for 15th, 5 stokes back of Vanderbilt for 10th heading into tomorrow.

Alabama's running away with this (11 stroke lead on 2nd place).

Very importantly, we've opened up a nice lead on Baylor.
 
Not going well today - CU is +15 on the day - with most of the schools in the early groups in the +10- +20 range today. Hopefully the afternoon groups throw up big numbers as well.
 
Course looks to be playing very hard today. We haven't lost position with that big number.
 
USC and Alabama are now tied for 1st
Colorado looks like they will finish at 18th

A tad disappointing but the good far outweighs the bad. Our first trip to the NCAA's baby! The experience for the returning ladies will be awesome and the message it sends to recruits will be as well.
 
Disappointing finish, but there are worse things in the world than finishing 18th in the country.

Yeah, just getting there for the first time is a big accomplishment
 
Congrats to our women's team!

Huge step forward this season. #18 finish and headed into the final week with a #10 national ranking. Great season and with the facility improvements in the works (covered driving range tee boxes & indoor chip/putt facility), we're going to remain a very competitive program with a chance to win championships.

I was right there with you. Then I saw where Baylor placed.
